"I am a devoted wife and proud mother to a wonderful son, as well as a loving older sister to four siblings and a cherished Tía to my amazing nieces and nephews. Raised in the vibrant community of Lindsay, I graduated from Lindsay High School and went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree from Porterville College. I continued my education at Fresno State, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and later achieved both my teaching credential and a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Educational Technology from National University.
For the past 18 years, I have been dedicated to teaching at the Alternative High School in Lindsay, where I passionately support underrepresented learners, inspiring them to discover their potential and strive for their best selves. Beyond the classroom, I am deeply involved in my community, coaching basketball, softball, and my son’s t-ball team, while also volunteering alongside my learners to make a positive impact locally.
In my spare time, I enjoy camping trips with my family, attending sporting events, and going to concerts. Spending quality time with loved ones is important to me, and I always cherish moments of connection and fun with my family.
My commitment to family, education, and community service reflects my belief in empowering others and creating opportunities for growth and success."
